Welcome to Saint Maries Flies. Thanks for visiting our website. My name is Derek Darst I live in St. Maries, Idaho along the St. Joe river. I was born and raised here and have been fly fishing for about 30 years. I started tying flies in the early 90’s. I specialize in trout flies and deer hair bass bugs. I started Saint Maries flies in 2013. I will be adding lots more fly patterns and fly tying materials to the site in the near future.
